Problems of staffing of civil aviation. Professional Standards

It is possible to solve strategic staffing industry task effectively only by uniting the efforts of airlines and airports. This decision was reached by the participants of the seminar "Problems of staffing of civil aviation. Professional standards", which was held on February 27 in Higher School of Economics. The organizers of the seminar was the Association "Aviation personnel" and the company "Aviapersonal".
The seminar was attended by representatives of airlines: the S7, Eye Fly, RusLine, Atran (GC "Volga-Dnepr") and representatives of airports: the company "Airports of Regions" (airport Koltsovo (Ekaterinburg), Kurumoch (Samara) Strigino (Nizhny Novgorod), Rostov-on-Don), Belgorod, Pulkovo (St. Petersburg), the company "Basel Aero" (airports of Sochi, Krasnodar, Gelendzhik and Anapa).
The aim of the seminar was to inform employers about the industry's state and prospects of development of the national system of qualifications and professional standards and the involvement of employers in active work on the modernization of the staffing industry system.
The seminar allowed the employers to get acquainted with international experience in the development of qualifications systems , the theory of the construction of professional - qualification structure of the industry and professional standards, with the features of the system status of staffing of civil aviation. Employers also studied the experience of the automotive industry and JSC "Russian Railways" in the development and application of professional standards.
During the discussion part of the event survey of participants was conducted by organizers, in which it was revealed that the vast majority of employers consider it necessary to develop a strategy for the staffing industry, feel the lack of availability of professional standards and are ready to participate in the development of professional and qualification structure of the industry.
Employers expressed their wish to participate in such event’s experience sharing and solving problems of industry personnel on a regular basis.
