Emerging Space Activities and Civil Aviation Challenges and Opportunities

This symposium is a continuation of the series of Aerospace Symposiums started with the first one held in Montréal, Canada, from 18 to 20 March 2015, the second one held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 15 to 17 March 2016, and will conclude with the upcoming third Symposium.
This event will follow up on the previous Symposiums and will provide means for observations, conclusions and recommendations of this joint undertaking by ICAO and UNOOSA. The Symposium in 2017 will provide participants with perspectives on, inter alia:
 
- latest trends in aviation, space activities, commercial space transportation and suborbital operations;
- sustainability of aerospace activities;
- regulatory and practical perspectives for aerospace operations and cooperation and coordination with aerospace stakeholders; and 
- air traffic management and future space traffic management.
 
The Symposium will be held in English only.
