Air law in Africa means the same

November 20, 2015 on the invitation of Dr. Moh'd Makame Haji, the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Sharia at Zanzibar University (Zanzibar, Tanzania), director of the Institute of Air and Space Law AEROHELP Oleg Aksamentov held a public lecture on Actual issues of international air law. The lecture was attended by students and teachers of the Zanzibar University.

Genuine interest in the audience caused a discussion about the legal status of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and its role in promoting the unification of the legal orders of the member-States through the adoption of Standards and Recommended practice (SARPs) by the ICAO Council. There were also the issues of liability for accidents in the sovereign airspace, the order of international flights and other issues.
