Teaching activity: 

From 1992 to 2007 Lecturer and researcher of Commercial and Corporate Law at the Utrecht University, the Netherlands.

From 2007 to present time Guest Lecturer on International Financing and Leasing of Mobile Equipment at the Utrecht University, the Netherlands.

From 2002 to 2011 Lecturer on International Aviation Financing and Leasing Laws at Leiden University, International Institute of Air and Space Law. The General lecturer responsible for the extensive course on International Aviation Finance Law which was unique at that time. Currently, involved in special projects concerning international aviation financing and leasing laws.

From 2014 to present time Professor of the course "International Aviation Financing and Leasing Laws" at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), School of Law, Master in Air and Space Law (LL.M.) program. In the whole world it is the only complete full Semester course covering this significant area of aviation law which is offered by leading academic institutions.

From 2014 to present time Guest Lecturer on International Aviation Financing and Leasing Laws at Groningen University, the Netherlands. Guest Lecturer on the course Private International Law at the Faculty of Law covering the various applicable conflicts of laws rules for international aviation financing and leasing transactions.

Other Activities: 

From June 1, 2017 to present time – one of the four founding members at Rep Law Aviation Cooperatief U.A.

From 1996 to June 1, 2017 – Of-Counsel at Gomez & Bikker Law Offices.

From 2012 to present time – Member of the Board of Editors of Luchtrecht-Netherlands Journal of Air Law.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, Subcommittee of Aviation Financing Law and the International Bar Association, Committee of Aviation Law.

He participated in the Diplomatic Conference on the realization of the Convention on International Interest concerning Mobile Equipment and the Aircraft Equipment Protocol in Cape Town, South Africa, in November 2001.

He advised the Governments of Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands in regard to the adoption of the Cape Town Convention on 17 May, 2010.
