In 1973 he graduated from Kazan Aviation Institute in the specialty "mechanical engineer for jet engines".
In 1987 he graduated from the All-Union Academy of Foreign Trade in "international economics with the knowledge of the English language."
From September 2011 to present time works as Senior Lecturer at Air Carriage and Airport Department of the Saint-Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation.
In 1989-1994 he worked as employee at Aeroflot Airlines administration office abroad in New Delhi (India) and as representative of Aeroflot Airlines in Dhaka (Bangladesh).
In 1994-1998 he worked as the Chief Adviser of North-Western regional administration of the Federal Aviation Administration.
In 1998-2006 he worked as the representative of Aeroflot Airlines in St. Petersburg.
In 2006-2007 he worked as Deputy Director of the branch of Aeroflot Airlines in St. Petersburg.
In 2007-2011 he worked as the representative of Aeroflot Airlines in Helsinki (Finland).
In 2002 he was awarded the "Excellent Worker of Aeroflot".
